So another day of no pictures and it's causing me to get so far behind with having to reschedule so many appointments. All of my appointments I had over the weekend had to be rescheduled and now again today. Somehow it will all work out.
It's looking like a REALLY lazy day for me. I just have no energy and the rain certainly does not help. I keep trying to make myself realize how much this house needs to be cleaned... but I still keep sitting here... being lazy. For all of you that know me- I can NOT stand for my house to be dirty. There's nothing like a clean house! If only I could get motivated!!
On days like this, I tend to feel "down". It makes me miss my family more than normal days and the closeness that we all once shared. I wish things were once again MY way, but since they aren't- I'll just be thankful that I still have them.
MEET MY FAMILY.....
My Uncle Bubba, Aunt Carla, & Cousin Katie.
- My mom's brother. He is the youngest. He has always pretty much stayed to himself and so therefore we were never really that close to him. I do miss throwing barbie dolls on him roof to make him mad! Those were the days!
My Aunt Jan, Uncle Joe, cousins Nic, & Sam.
- My mom's middle sister. I have so many memories of her.. she was like a second mom to me. I'd do anything to be able to go back in time. Jan is also my mom's best friend.
My sister, Brittney.
- My baby sister, although she's not so much of a baby anymore. She is a Memphis State graduate and is very special to me. I am so proud of the LADY that she has become. I still can't believe how much she has grown. Time flies by so quickly.
My brother, Kacey & his girlfriend Leah.
- My baby brother, so yes.. I am the oldest! :/ I don't get to see him much. Life just gets in the way, but I miss him. The memories that we have shared over the years are so dear to me.
My beautiful Mom, Robin & My Grandmother, Judy.
- My mom's mother. Funny to even say grandmother because growing up she never wanted to feel old, so we either called her Mama Judy or just JUDY. She is the only grandmother that has really ever been in my life and if it weren't for her... I wouldn't have my momma... and there would be no me! I love this woman so much and cherish all of the times we've shared together. (and there are so many great memories)
Me & My world, Michael Dillon.
- When it comes to this sweet, precious baby... my son, that's not such a baby anymore either... there just aren't enough words to describe the love that I hold in my heart for him. Sometimes I wonder how it's possible that I am able to love anyone else.
Me & My Papa Red. (grandpa)
- My mom's dad. From allowing us grandkids to drive at the age of 7, (Oh my goodness) to doing all kinds of things that I would never want my child doing... he too is the only grandfather that has ever been in my life and I love him very much for that.
My Aunt Jan & Aunt Shelah.
- Shelah is my mom's oldest living sister. (the oldest passed away months after she was born) I stayed with Shelah a lot during the summers and we shared some very sweet memories together. But, how could I ever thank her enough for giving me the greatest gift that anyone has ever given me? Introducing me to God. I was saved at the age of 14 or maybe 15.. thanks to her! Out of ALL of the great things that this woman has ever done for me (and there has been plenty) that's what I will ALWAYS and FOREVER be thankful for. I will NEVER forget that night.
My cousin Stephen.
- Jan's son. Did you ever have that "BEST FRIEND" that you did everything with? Well, for me... this was mine. We would play house and school for hours and it would never get old. If he saw this now, he probably wouldn't be too happy with me, but hey... they are very sweet memories for me that I will cherish for the rest of my life. We had a blast together! I still til this day have all of the books and things that we played with.
My cousin Bryant.
- Shelah's son, so that means that I spent a lot of my summers with him out on the lake, at church, doing all the things that a child loves to do! He is now married, and I still just can't believe that that much time has gone by.
Me, Kacey, Brittney, & Mom.
(this makes me smile)
My parents.... oh, how I love them!
- My dad, the only dad that I know.. adopted me when I was 3. I can not with words describe to you how thankful I am for God to have blessed me, my brother, and my mom with such a hard working, loving, and PERFECT dad. There is just so much that I can say about him... this calls for another blog at a later time.
- My mom, my best friend, the one that brought me into this world. There is NO love greater than a mother's love. For ALL of the things that my mom has done for me my entire life- I will NEVER be able to thank her enough. She is everything to me.
I love my family!
